THANK YOU! The response to our continuing plea to help fund our orchestra each season has been heartening to say the least. We gratefully acknowledge all who rise to the occasion and send donations small and large to assure the Orchestra will continue to “Keep the Music Live"”

The Beaufort Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1986 when 14 local musicians came together to form a chamber music society (more history). Today we are one of Beaufort's bright cultural highlights—a full symphonic ochestra with more than 50 professional musicians, offering a wide range of classical, light classical, Broadway and Hollywood repertoire (see schedule) under the direction of Maestro Frederick Devyatkin.

Our Beaufort Symphony Youth Orchestra, now in its eighteenth year, continues on its quest to broaden the hearts and souls of our students and the Beaufort Community! More than 80 talented students from third grade through high school now take part in our three youth orchestras.
