The Beaufort Symphony Orchestra League is the volunteer organization that conducts fundraisers and events that help to raise community awareness of the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra and the Beaufort Symphony Youth Orchestra. The League is an in-house organization created to serve under direction of the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra Board.

The purpose is three-fold:

• PROJECTS: Three or four fundraising projects will be planned September through May. Our aim is to raise money for ongoing needs of both orchestras, as well as to showcase musicians and concerts to the community.
• 
  EDUCATION: The education committee works to stimulate interest in classical music appreciation by community outreach activities such as informal talks in schools and community organizations. The main focus is on the Youth Orchestra to provide opportunities for exposure, scholarships, and instruments.
• 
  MEMBERSHIP: The goal is to raise awareness of the orchestras by publicity and expanded membership of the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra League.
