Dear Beaufort Symphony Orchestra Supporter,

After surviving Hurricane Matthew and the reschedule of the October concert, we enter our 32nd concert season, and we know you will join us in celebrating our performances in 2017-20l8 with renewed enthusiasm and anticipation “Keeping the Music Live” for the Beaufort community.

The season will open with Beloved Beethoven with young pianist Reed Tetzlof as guest soloist playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4, followed by the orchestra's presentation of his Symphony No. 7. In December, we will be In the Mood for the Holidays with the Nutcracker Suite along with a variety of seasonal pops music. The first concert of the new year, All American Pops, will feature the orchestra's rendition of music from Glenn Gould, John Phillip Sousa, and Richard Hayman. Our final concert, Cherishing Tchaikovsky, with soloist Tamas Kocsis highlighting Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and Symphony No. 5.

If you are looking forward to this superb series as much as we are, please consider making an additional donation as part of our Conductor's Circle. Ticket sales account for less than one-half of the orchestra's annual budget. For the remainder of our operating expenses we must rely upon the generosity of supporters like you to keep our musicians on stage. The tiered levels of giving and their associated benefits are listed on the subscription form at left and on our donation page. As always, our donors are prominently recognized on this website and in all our programs throughout the season.

There are also other ways to support your Beaufort Symphony Orchestra and our 50-member Beaufort Symphony Youth Orchestra. You can make an Annual Campaign,/span> donation of any amount to our General Fund. Or join our Symphony Chair Society and be recognized as the sponsor of the musician of your choice for 12 months. Or become a Guest Artist Sponsor by underwriting the appearance of a guest artist at a concert. For more information on these programs of giving and how you can help us “Keep the Music Live” please click below. Your gift will be tax deductible and may qualify for a Matching Grant from your employer.

In closing, if you are a current supporter we thank you so very much for your past contributions and hope you will continue your support by subscribing and donating to our 2017-2018 season. If you have not yet had the opportunity to become a subscriber and donor we invite you to complete the subscription form and become a member of our Beaufort Symphony Orchestra family. Please return your form no later than September 1 to be included in the donor recognition section of our season programs.

Together we can keep the musicians on the stage, allow our stellar Music Director to create new and even more exciting programs for our enjoyment, and nurture the young talent that is Beaufort's treasured musical future.
Thank you all for your support!

Sincerely,
